We contribute to a clean climate

Sustainable action is an essential part of our corporate culture and an expression of our responsibility towards people and the environment. INTEGRAL has many years of experience and supports you reliably in various areas of environmental engineering with technologies that are continuously and partly developed and patented in collaboration with universities. Our innovative solution portfolio is primarily used in the areas of waste incineration, chemical industry, steel industry, cement industry, and power plant industry. Our technicians and highly qualified engineers provide you with expertise and competence in the areas of flue gas cleaning, waste treatment and residue processing.

Green Heart. Green Mind. Green Logo.

Our specialists offer you many years of experience and expertise from basic engineering, extended basic engineering and detail engineering to the realization of customized plants, as well as turnkey projects. This usually includes services in the areas of consulting, process engineering, plant design and engineering services such as commissioning, optimization, construction management and coordination, quality control and documentation.

Our core competencies lie in the engineering and realization of denitrification plants (DeNOx-/SCR/SNCR), desulfurization plants (DeSOx), activated carbon plants, waste to energy plants, and water-steam cycles, as well as in the provision of engineering services. In addition to the traditional technologies in the field of exhaust gas cleaning, INTEGRAL has its own developed and patented CFGC (Carbon Flue Gas Cleaning) process. Our future-oriented services in the field of residue processing and our extensive research and development activities in the field of decarbonization complete our portfolio.

Flue Gas Cleaning

With our various engineering services and our proprietary technologies in the field of flue gas cleaning, we offer technically creative solutions that are individually developed and implemented according to customer needs. Their reliability can be tested and verified with test facilities if necessary. Our numerous references provide you with the confidence for future-oriented and sustainable solutions, thus guaranteeing the highest quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

Patented CFGC process

The CFGC (Carbon Flue Gas Cleaning) process uses activated carbon to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) through adsorption and reduces nitrogen dioxide (NOx) through catalytic reduction with ammonia (NH3) from flue gases. The process offers the unique advantage that, within one process step the pollutant SOis removed at temperatures below 140°C and nitrogen oxides (NO, NO2) are reduced to nitrogen and water. Subsequently, the activated carbon is regenerated in a desorber and the adsorbed SO2 is recovered and as concentrated sulfur rich gas utilized for further applications (e.g. production of sulfuric acid). This means that a valuable product can be generated from the pollutant in the flue gas and the entire process is based on a residue-free technology, i.e., there is no need for the deposition of reaction products.

Residue Processing

During combustion processes or as part of the flue gas cleaning, residual materials derive. Depending on the used technology or the type of residue, the quantities vary and require individual further processing. For example, in the area of thermal waste treatment plants (waste incineration), ash and slag are generated as combustion residues, separated dust (fly ash) from the flue gas stream and reaction products from flue gas cleaning process derive as further residues.

In this context, INTEGRAL offers a wide range of technologies for further processing of this residues. Each plant is individually designed depending on customer requirements or legal regulations. We have many years of experience and the necessary know-how to develop and implement projects together with our customers.

With our slag valorization plants, we enable the recovery of valuable elements such as ferrous metals or non-ferrous metals from the slag. They are then fractionated, recycled and form an additional source of added value.

Using the INTEGRAL ash stabilization process, we solidify and stabilize fly ash, dust and reaction products that are contaminated with heavy metals. These can then be safely stored in a landfill for non-hazardous substances.
